The B building is the one closest to the beach with unrestricted beach views. We purchased this dream in July of 2018. The previous owner operated this property to the highest standards while creating a get away that is perfectly beachy. We invite you to be our guests in our long-awaited beach home.
While vacationing on the Emerald Coast for decades, we learned what we like and dislike about rental condos. We don’t like white/beige walls, wicker, bamboo furniture and cheap beach décor that owners often put in their units because it’s strictly an investment. In our condo you will find a warm, soothing, beachy wall color, comfortable furniture, and classy décor that lets you know you’re on vacation at the beach without screaming it at you. We’ve updated the entire unit. This is truly a second home and we welcome you to enjoy it as we do - recharging your batteries and making memories..
Summer House is 5 miles east of highway 59 and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The property is gated and has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, a sauna, hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball courts, putting green, handball, basketball court, playground, exercise room, free wi-fi, and grilling areas.
One of the best features of this complex is the private, massive balcony that overlooks the Gulf and beautiful white sand. This unit has unrestricted beach views in both east and west directions. There is so much space that it will accommodate everyone with plenty of room to spare, and yet it’s cozy so that you and your loved one can enjoy the romantic sunsets. And you'll want to spend a lot of time out on the balcony because we've furnished it with soft, cushioned furniture. No cheap plastic or uncomfortable furniture here! There is access to the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom.
The living room features all new comfortable furniture and a flat screen Samsung Smart TV.
The new coastal kitchen features all new Whirlpool appliances, quartz countertops, custom backsplash, and is fully-stocked with everything you will need to cook any kind of meal including a crockpot and Ninja grill. There is even a built-in ice maker so that you never run out of ice.
The master suite features a tiled floor, king-sized mattress, upscale furniture and bedding, a flat screen Samsung Smart TV, charging stations and black out curtains so that you can sleep in if you want to. The in suite bathroom has all been updated beautifully. It now has a tiled, walk-in shower with glass doors, new vanity with quartz countertops, and new lighting.
One of the guest bedrooms features a queen-sized bed and the other guest room has two queen beds. Both rooms have high thread count, super soft sheets, tiled floors, ceiling fans, plantation shutters, flat screen TVs, charging stations and share the guest bathroom. There is a pack-n-play under the bed.
The unit also has brand new GE full-sized high efficiency washer and dryer, clothes iron and ironing board.
Please keep in mind that Summer House is one of the nicest complexes on the beach and has every amenity, is gated, extremely well maintained, and is beachfront. You will be able to find less expensive complexes, but they won't be the same.
PARKING: Parking passes for your stay can be purchased upon arrive at either the guard shack or the Summer House office across the street. You may purchase up to two passes at $51.50 each. The guard can help you with these details.
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: The B building has undergone a complete exterior restoration which includes all new doors and windows for all the units. On 8/19/2024, the construction moves to the A building which will close the outdoor pool until April/May of 2025. All other amenities will be open as usual.
POLICIES: Absolutely no renters under age 25. Absolutely no smoking in the unit. No pets of any kind are allowed.
DAMAGE POLICY: A damage policy is included in each rental which covers any damage during your stay. You will see it as a $59 line item on the reservation. This eliminates any need for a security deposit.
All rental fees are due 30 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 30 days of check-in date, all fees are due at time of reservation. Cancellations 30 days before arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival will be refunded 1/2 of rental amount, and no cancellations later than 7 days before arrival.
